My name is Blair Hicks Terrill and I am a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner. Although originally from Knoxville, I lived in Nashville for 8 years--receiving a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in 2009 and a Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2013. I am overjoyed to be joining St Mary's Birth and Midwifery Center and to be back in my hometown. From my background as an RN in the ICU to volunteer medical work internationally I have had the opportunity to learn from and work in a variety of settings. I felt called to continue my education in Midwifery and Family Practice in order to provide comprehensive care to women and their families both locally and abroad. It is truly an honor to walk alongside women through pregnancy and birth and I hope to respect the sacredness of these moments while providing compassionate care. One of the greatest joys of being a midwife is the relationship-based care, which enables me to listen, educate and support women through all stages of their lives.
